Four men charged over €150k drug haul
FOUR men have been charged following a seizure of €150,000 worth of cannabis.
They were arrested at a residence at Larchill, Santry, on Saturday.
Eoghan Conlon (22), of Whitethorn Crescent, Artane; Daniel Campbell (31), of The View, Larchill Apartments, D17; Mark Ivers (25), of Cromcastle Court, Kilmore; and Mark Rafferty (21), of Boroimhe Oaks, Swords, appeared at Dublin District Court charged with unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
There was no objection to bail for Mr Conlon and Mr Campbell who were released on their bonds of €500 to appear on May 11.
Gardai objected to bail for Mr Rafferty and Mr Ivers. Det Gda Conor O'Sullivan said it was alleged Mr Ivers was caught red handed.
Judge Cormac Dunne said he would grant conditional bail. He said Mr Rafferty would be released in his bond of €100 but with a €5,000 independent surety.
He set Mr Ivers' bail at €100 but ordered there would have to be a €7,000 independent surety.
They were remanded in custody to appear at Cloverhill District Court on Thursday.
