FOOD: Eddie Rockets zooms back into the black
FAST-FOOD chain Eddie Rockets returned to profit last year, recording pre-tax profits of €1.5m.
The Irish company recorded a massive €400,000 loss in the previous year.
Gross profit at the company was lower, listed at almost €8.2m, down from €9.7m, which indicated that sales in the period were lower.
Eddie Rockets (Ireland) Ltd said the company put a strong focus on cost control and spending was reviewed on a monthly basis.
"The future success of the company is based on its ability to win new and maintain existing customers and maintaining expenditure in line with sustainable revenue streams," it said.
