It's just been confirmed that The Bodyguard will come to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre from July 22 as part of a tour of Ireland and the UK.

Based on the 1992 Oscar-nominated movie, the new show sees Michael Harrison and David Ian at the helm of the popular production, which was nominated for four Laurence Olivier Awards including Best New Musical.

Tickets from €20 go on sale this Friday at 9am.

It was also the perfect chance for him to show off his newly refurbished Victorian-style salon as attendees were treated to a night of champagne and treats.
