Fashion bible Vogue predicts global mega sales for Simone

Simone Rocha has been taking the fashion world by storm over the past few years and now she's received another nomination at the British Fashion Awards.

Rocha (28) has been nominated in the New Establishment Designer category alongside emerging designers Peter Pilotto and Emilia Wickstead.

This is not the first time the Ranelagh native has been recognised by the British Fashion Council.

Last year, she won received the Emerging Womenswear Designer award at the British Fashion Awards 2013 as well as receiving the Best Future Fashion Wallpaper Award 2013.

And the NCAD graduate was also recognised by the fashion magazine Elle when she received the New Designer of the Year Award at The Elle Style Awards in 2013.

Style bible Vogue is also a fan of the Dublin designer and recently declared that her denim line with J Brand would be a global sell-out.

Meanwhile, fellow Irish designer JW Anderson has been nominated in two categories in the top fashion awards.

The Northern Irish designer will go head-to-head with Erdem's Christopher Kane for Womenswear Designer of the Year. Proving his sartorial strength, Anderson is also nominated in the Menswear Designer category with fashion giants Tom Ford, Christopher Bailey for Burberry and Paul Smith.

The British Fashion Awards will take place on December 1, 2014 in London's Coliseum and top comedian Jack Whitehall will be hosting the glamorous event.
