'Expecting a new baby means I badly miss mum', says Pippa
Top model Pippa O'Connor has said she'll miss her late mum this Christmas, especially now that she's due her second baby.
The well-known blogger (31) lost her mum Louise in October 2014 after she died suddenly at her home - and said she would love her to still be around for the new arrival.
"Yeah, absolutely, of course. But that's life," she said.
After flying to France after her mum's passing last year, she and husband Brian Ormond - who have one son, Ollie (2) - will have a traditional family meal at home this year.
"We're going to be home this year. We haven't decided which home yet. We were away in Paris last year, just because of the year that was in it. So, this year, we'll definitely stay at home."
She'll become a mum for the second time in May and said that she probably won't take an extended maternity leave, as she's so swamped with work.
"Probably not. I can't really afford to when you're doing everything yourself, but I suppose I'm lucky. I don't need to get up and look presentable in an office," she said.
"If I want to stay at home in my pyjamas for a month and do everything from home, then I can do that - but I probably won't disappear for too long."
She said that she had a good pregnancy so far.
"I haven't had any morning sickness, thank God," she said.
"I don't think I'd be able to do this kind of job if I had. Doing a photo shoot and getting sick under the table, it wouldn't be ideal. I'm very lucky so far."
Asked if they had broken the news to Ollie yet, she added: "We started to say it yesterday, but we were afraid to say it. He doesn't fully understand yet."
