Enda wants round of golf with Obama
Taoiseach Enda Kenny has said President Barack Obama is keen to visit Ireland to play some golf.
"I've spoken to the president on a number of occasions and to the vice-president (Joe Biden), I know they're anxious to come to swing the clubs, and the invitation is wide open.
"That would be a good three-ball, wouldn't it?" joked Mr Kenny (inset).
"Yes, I'd love to see the president or the vice-president being able to come to Ireland, obviously there are protocols and official things that must be gone through."
A report yesterday suggested that Mr Obama will travel to Ireland for St Patrick's Day next year.
A White House spokesperson didn't deny the prospect of another visit but said: "We have no additional presidential travel to announce this time."
