A 15-year-old boy, who stole a packet of condoms he was too embarrassed to pay for, has been spared a criminal conviction.

The teen pleaded guilty at the Children's Court to the theft of goods worth €34, including the pack of Durex condoms, from Boots, at Henry Street in Dublin, last month.

Defence solicitor Michelle Finan said that her client had never been involved in theft before.

When asked by the judge why he stole them the red faced teen mumbled awkwardly that he had been "embarrassed".

He was given probation.

I didn't stalk Miley, says man

A 53-YEAR-OLD man accused of stalking teen star Miley Cyrus has won the first round in his court battle.

A grand jury in Georgia refused to indict Mark McLeod, saying prosecutors failed to present sufficient evidence. He is now likely to face lesser charges in another court.

McLeod of Appling, Georgia, faced charges of attempted stalking Cyrus (16), obstruction of a police officer and disturbing the peace.

McLeod has been in jail since August 4 after police arrested him twice on Tybee Island where the Hannah Montana star was filming a new movie.

Perfume firm sues Campbell

A PERFUME firm is suing supermodel Naomi Campbell for breach of contract, saying she kept millions of dollars in profits that she owed the company for fragrances it helped her develop.

Moodford Mission said it had "conceptualised, created, developed and marketed" the perfumes in the lawsuit, filed in the New York State Supreme Court.

It claims Campbell (39) kept all the cash after Moodford helped her.
