Target of botched hit still lives in house

THE intended target of John Dundon's botched 2008 murder bid still lives in the same house, just a few doors away from the late Shane Geoghegan's home.

John 'Pitchfork' McNamara was not at his home in Clonmore, Kilteragh in Dooradoyle in Limerick, yesterday.

Garda sources confirmed that McNamara is still in Limerick and still lives at the semi-detached house located less than 1km from Crescent College and Garryowen rugby club.

He got married last year.

Yesterday, post was lying uncollected in the mail box and cartons of milk were left unopened on the front doorstep.

Neighbours refused to comment to the media either about McNamara or the tragic events that claimed Shane Geoghegan's life in November 2008.

Gunman Barry Doyle was told by gangland boss, John Dundon, to go to Kilteragh and shoot McNamara as the culmination of a long-running feud between the two men.
