A married father-of-two caught selling cocaine three times to undercover gardai has been fined for drug dealing.

Phillip Moore (33) was funding a cocaine habit he developed after "snow blow", which he had previously used, became unavailable.

Judge David McHugh fined him €150 at Blanchardstown District Court.

Moore, of Barry Avenue, Finglas, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to sell or supply.

Blanchardstown District Court heard the first incident happened at Mellowe's Park, Finglas, on November 30, 2012.

The second took place at Topaz, Glasnevin Avenue, on January 2, 2013 and the third at Mellowe's Park on January 17 that year.

A garda told the court Moore had sold a €40 bag of cocaine on each occasion.

The court heard he had two prior convictions, neither for drugs offences.
