You'd think being in a boyband would be a glam life of hotels and parties, but not for Louis Walsh's Hometown.

The boys decamped to London for the summer while recording their upcoming album, but there wasn't enough room for the six of them in their flat in Canary Wharf.

"When we were over in London, all six of us were in an apartment and me and Brendan ended up having to take one for the team and sleep on the couch for three to four months," Ryan said.

"We had back problems and all that, but we all got on pretty well - the only fighting was over who wasn't cleaning up after themselves."

Meanwhile, the boys are hoping for further success with their new single, The Night We Met.

It was penned by famed songwriters Jamie Scott and Liam Payne from One Direction.

Dean, Dayl, Brendan, Cian, Josh and Ryan are set to start their nationwide tour and will play Dublin's Vicar Street on December 4.
