Everywhere I go, the first thing people ask me about is my boyfriend, Bressie.

I'm constantly being asked "How's your beautiful boyfriend?" and it's always the mammies and the grannies who are asking about him.

Wherever I go, some mother will come up and go: "How's Bressie?" It's a sure bet.

I'm always just like: "He's fine."

Bressie gets a lot of female attention, but I'm not one to get jealous.

I suppose I'd be really worried if they were really young, hot models, but I suppose once it's just the mammies it's okay.

They're the least of my worries, to be honest - I've been so busy with work lately.

I've just finished putting together my Natural Born Feeder cookbook, which has taken up a lot of my time, so now I'm focusing on my suit collection.

I'm really excited they're being stocked in Dundrum from next week.

Working on it has been an incredible experience and taught me a lot.

I love the excitement of the races - and seeing the styles

I'm a big fan of the races and I've been to loads of meetings, but this week I broke my Galway Races duck.

I came down to judge yesterday's Best Dressed Lady competition, and I'm also judging the My Fair Lady competition with the Athlone Town Centre today.

I'd never been to the Galway Races, so it's great to be here on Ladies' Day to see all the chaos and commotion.

Havoc

The trip is not all work, though - there's plenty of play. One of my best friends is from Galway, so I'm going to stay with her tonight and cause some havoc around the city.

Only joking - we actually won't because we're two big grannies and by then I'll be looking forward to a cup of tea.

Tomorrow morning we'll probably go for a nice Galway cycle, which is something you just have to do when you're in such beautiful countryside like this.

It's really interesting judging other people's sense of style. It's a real test to see who is actually comfortable in what they're wearing - especially with the younger crowd who have been traipsing around in their heels all day and then they have to go to competitions and social events in the evening. It's always interesting to see who's admitted defeat and put the flip-flops on.

Yesterday, I wore a black suit from my Scribe by Roz collection and my hat was by Aisling Ahern - she's in Brown Thomas' Create exhibition.

Fascinators aren't normally my thing, but this one really caught my eye.

I piled on the pounds while writing my book

With my book, I've been cooking constantly and I always taste everything I make, but I find it really hard to stop eating the stuff I bake.

I'm one of those people that can't stop, so I just can't have things like nut butter in my house.

It's easy to have too much of it all, and that's something I'm trying to push now - just because it's healthy doesn't mean you can eat it all.

I've had to learn that myself, especially during my book shoot - it was so hard for me, and I did indulge.

I tried inviting people over to finish dishes off, because if I make a cake I'm not going to have a slice, I'm having half of it.

I struggle with that, but it's such a First World problem.

In the past year I've put on a bit of weight from all the cooking, but I'm fine with that. I'm not really into aesthetics, it's more about being happy. I'm not specifically into diet - I'm not vegan or strictly paleo, I'm more about whole foods and preparation.
