Caroline taking kids to Augusta to cheer on their dad Padraig

Caroline Harrington has revealed that her husband Padraig's confidence has improved since he won the Honda Classic in Florida earlier this month. He ended a seven-year title wait by beating rookie Daniel Berger for the €940,000 prize.

"He's the most positive person I ever met, he always felt that as long as he continued to work hard, he was going to get the results, and hopefully that continues after this win," she said.

"I'm hoping this result helps with his own confidence and he plays as well as he did in the Honda Classic going forward.

"Getting to Augusta is a massive bonus, missing it last year for the first time was not pleasant for him," she added.

His family will head to the US to support him at the Augusta Masters next month.

"It usually depends on the kids' holidays but Augusta is the week of the Easter holidays so myself and the kids will be going."

Padraig (43) has also been busy working with Caroline on a new ladies' golf collection for Dunnes Stores which is available from shops nationwide and online.
