Bus crash kills 12 in Malaysia
A BUS crashed through a barrier in southern Malaysia and rammed into several vehicles, killing 12 and injuring at least 35.
Those killed on the Delima Express included three Burma nationals, and the rest were Malaysians, including the Delima Express driver, a police official said.
Several bus passengers said the bus was speeding before the crash.
"I felt the bus spinning, and before I knew it, we had already crashed through the guard-rail and onto the path of oncoming traffic," a 19-year-old passenger who suffered slight injury told the paper.
Eight injured by turbulence
EIGHT people on a Turkish Airlines flight were injured when the plane ran into severe turbulence.
Aviation officials said four passengers and four crew members were injured on flight TK661 from Istanbul to Tunisia's capital Tunis, shortly before it landed.
A Tunis-Carthage airport ground worker said two of the injured were taken to hospital for treatment of serious though unspecified injuries.
