Burglary charge boy flees court before hearing begins
A 14-YEAR-OLD boy facing burglary charges fled from a courthouse in Dublin minutes before his hearing was about to begin.
The teenager has been charged at the Children's Court with burglary of a community centre in south Dublin in March and another burglary at a house in the city's south-side in July.
He is also facing a charge for breach of the peace and another for criminal damage to a garda car.
Judge Patrick Clyne was also assured that when gardai found the teenager they would return him immediately to his current HSE accommodation. He adjourned the case in the boy's absence.
