A note in the accounts described the outlook as presenting "significant challenges in terms of gate receipts and other fundraising activities", which create "material uncertainties" over future trading results and cash flows.

The club told the Herald that, like all Irish football clubs, it was facing challenges on and off the pitch, but had recently set up a company to assist in fundraising for the club and foster greater involvement from the local community. It aims to be owned by supporters.
