Bomb threat halts Klum's TV show

reality

A live German television model casting show featuring model Heidi Klum (below) was abandoned after a woman called in a bomb threat.

TV channel ProSieben abruptly yanked Germany's Next Topmodel off the air, initially citing "technical problems".

Police said yesterday that an anonymous caller had phoned in a bomb threat to the venue, the SAP Arena in the southwestern city of Mannheim. Some 8,500 people were evacuated from the arena.

Officials then found a suspect suitcase near a changing room, but it turned out to contain nothing dangerous and the owner was quickly found. No other suspicious objects were found.
