Body of dad killed in the US to be returned home tomorrow
THE body of the Limerick man who was killed in the US last week will arrive back in Ireland tomorrow morning.
Jason Corbett (39) died of severe head injuries after a suspected domestic incident at his home in North Carolina last week.
His family was originally hoping to return to Ireland with Jason (inset) and both of his children, but US authorities have yet to determine who gets custody of them.
The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust took charge of the operation to fly Mr Corbett's body home at the request of his family.
Colin Bell, who set up the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust after his son was killed in a hit-and-run in New York two years ago, said that they were happy to help the Corbetts.
"We set up the trust to help families in tragic circumstances who need to get loved ones home," he said.
