BOD, Amy and Holly hang out with stars in NYC

They're some of Ireland's most famous faces and this week they've been rubbing shoulders with rock and roll and movie royalty Stateside.

Rugby legend Brian O'Driscoll and his actress wife Amy Huberman jetted to New York this week, where they caught up with Dublin rockers U2.

The loved-up couple, who celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary earlier this month, were personally invited by the band to watch them play in Madison Square Garden before hanging out together backstage. Brian and Amy were in good company at the star-studded gig, with Princess Beatrice also pictured among the crowds.

The O'Driscolls weren't the only familiar faces living it up in the Big Apple this week.

Model Holly Keating swapped the Dublin social circuit for the glitzy New York nightlife as she partied with Hollywood heavyweights Paul Rudd and Amy Poehler, who both happily posed for pictures with the Bray native and her sister Hannah.

The blonde beauty, who is living in the city for the summer, mingled with the celebrities at a Netflix party thrown at the lavish Le Bain hotel in the city's trendy Meatpacking district.

"I was invited by a friend and we had a great night," Holly told the Herald.

"They were both genuinely lovely. I was going to ask Paul for a photo but I didn't even have to - once he heard our accents he started up a conversation with us straight away.

"He told us how much he loves Irish people and we chatted away, it was really natural.

"Then Amy [Poehler] literally grabbed my phone and we all took a selfie (inset), which was a pretty surreal moment because I absolutely loved her in Mean Girls," she added.
