Angela Scanlon jets to Vienna for Eurovision madness
Presenter Angela Scanlon has packed up her designer bags and jetted off to Vienna ahead of this year's Eurovision song contest.
The redhead flew to the Austrian city over the weekend as she prepares for the extravagant competition.
The fashionista seems to be more than happy to be in the middle of the madness, writing on Instagram, "Let the games begin".
This year isn't the first time the stylist-turned-presenter has been to the contest. Last year, Angela went to Copenhagen to soak up the Eurovision atmosphere and to hang out with Marty Whelan.
The Dubliner, who recently presented The Voice UK spin-off, appears to only have one thing on her mind these days, as her upcoming RTE show about Ireland's most memorable entries is set to air soon.
The show will trace Ireland's 50-year involvement in the contest, bringing us all on a trip down memory lane of the good, the bad and the mad of Eurovision.
"The show celebrates all things Eurovision," she told the Diary.
Top stylists' hair affair
Some of Ireland's top hairdressers went head to head this week as the hair extensions brand Great Lengths announced the winners of their first ever hair extensions awards.
Dublin hair stylists Valerie Patterson from Cowboys and Angels and Pamela Laird from the Beauty Parlour were among the winners at Monday's event in the hip restaurant Fade Street Social.
