Agony for fans as Leinster edged out
Leinster fans were left devastated as their team came agonisingly close to victory in their European Champions Cup semi-final clash.
The boys in blue travelled to the south of France to take on defending champions Toulon, who won out 25-20, with supporters on the edge of their seats.
The game entered extra time after too late Leinster drop goal attempts went wide of the mark.
The team were well supported, not just in France and back home but also as far away as the US.
The Lunasa Pub in New York posted a picture on social media showing fans flocking to the bar early yesterday morning.
Ireland legend Brian O'Driscoll also expressed his pride, tweeting "Incredibly proud of that performance. Huge character & pedigree to front up like that having not played their best recently".
