A NEW €2.5m interactive exhibition, the Guinness Global floor, has opened at the St James's Gate facility.
The fourth floor will house a range of interactive exhibits that tell the story of how the black stuff is enjoyed around the world.
Visitors to the new Guinness Global floor can take part in a variety of experiences including the Guinness Academy, the Guinness Connoisseur Bar and the Arthur Guinness Fund Exhibition.
Meanwhile it was unveiled that production is due to start at Diageo Ireland's new €153m brewing facility at St James's Gate.
The drinks giant formally launched construction at the new brew house facility at the iconic Dublin home of Guinness yesterday, only the fourth such structure to be built at the brewery in its 250-year history.
The St James's Gate expansion plan was first announced at the start of this year.
The facility will have the capability to produce 7m hectolitres per year -- or somewhere in the region of one billion pints a year.
