11pc of children 'bullied online'
More than one in 10 children in the UK has been bullied on social media, research has found.
In a survey of eight to 16-year-olds, 11pc reported that they had been the victims of cyberbullying.
It found that nearly half of youngsters (49pc) have witnessed cruel behaviour on social platforms, but a third did not report it.
The report also suggested that one in 10 children said they would meet, or have already met, someone they encountered online.
