Lance Armstrong, the seven-time Tour de France cycling champion, invited cyclists in Dublin to join him for a bike ride in the Phoenix Park today.
“Good morning Dublin, who wants to ride this afternoon? I do,” Armstrong wrote on his Twitter stream earlier today.
The cycle will start at 5.30pm today at the roundabout off Fountain Rd and Chesterfield Ave.
For those without a bike, he suggested Phoenix Park Bike Hire, who recently supplied Beyonce with a bicycle when she stayed in Dublin.

Armstrong is currently in Dublin for the first global summit of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, the organisation he set up while battling cancer to help provide support for people affected by the disease.
He organised the three-day event to call for a global response in the fight against the spread of cancer, which is set to become the world's biggest killer disease next year.
Armstrong was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1996, by the time of detection it had spread to his abdomen.
He was also told that it had spread to his lungs and brain. However, following a successful programme of chemotherapy he took part in the 1999 Tour de France.
