Wilde about roasts

Sunday lunch is set to become the new Friday night, following the opening of the Westbury Hotel's new eatery, Wilde -- The Restaurant. It offers a selection of roast dinners, with dishes such as roast rib of beef with duck fat roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. Perfect hangover food, we think.

More than a quarter of the Irish don't have much time for breakfast, according to the Kellogg's Consumption Study. Worryingly, this is highest among 15 to 34-year-olds, with 36% admitting to being "time poor" when it comes to breakfasting. Also, 28% of households never sit together at meals -- an increase of 10% since 2005.

Lebanese movie Caramel is being dubbed the thinking woman's Sex and the City. It shows the lives and loves of women working in a Beirut beauty salon, from Layale who is involved with a married man, to Nisrine who is about to be married but whose fiancé wrongly believes she is still a virgin. A film about the bonds between women.

Victoria Beckham is set to make her movie debut in Hardy Men after she was hired by the film's star Tom Cruise. The singer is said to have been left speechless after Cruise asked her to design the costumes for the forthcoming movie, plus make a cameo appearance on screen. Victoria has appeared in hit TV series Ugly Betty.

We're already getting somewhat nostalgic about ER, the series which made heart-throb George Clooney a megastar. The medical drama, one of the longest-running in TV history, will expire next February.
