Wedding bells for Lisa Cannon as she flies to Florence for 'Italian Job' wedding
It's the 'bridal countdown' for Xpose host Lisa Cannon.
The bride-to-be and her other half Richard Keatley jetted out of Dublin yesterday ahead of their lavish Italian wedding.
The couple will exchange vows at the Castello Di Vincigliata in Florence this Thursday in front of 105 family and friends.
Speaking with the Herald last night, Lisa said she was feeling ecstatic and elated about her Big Day.
"We just arrived in Florence. It was a long day but I am feeling ecstatic," she said. "I can't wait for all the celebrations.
"It's 38C over here, just roasting and beautiful. It's all go. I'm so excited for it all - The Italian Job."
Lisa has been frantically organising the wedding for the past few months.
The presenter has hired the same caterer enlisted by reality TV star Kim Kardashian when she got hitched to rapper Kanye West in May, 2014.
Lisa also flew over her wedding cake baker to ensure the tiered cake looks nothing short of perfection on her wedding day.
"Trace of Cakes in Cork made the cake and we also have an Italian cake," she said. "It's a wedding full of surprises."
Lisa's Australian-based florist Jospehine Higginbottom and musicians Harlequin Band will be the first guests to arrive.
Lisa had her hands full as she flew out of Dublin choosing to carry her wedding gown on board her flight.
However, the bubbly TV host was reluctant to reveal the designer. "It's another surprise," she said. Rugby player Richard asked Lisa to be his wife in Paris in 2013.
He popped the question in front of a water fountain at Le Palais Royal while an acoustic guitarist played Snow Patrol's single Just Say Yes.
Richard was so happy with Lisa's response he "re-proposed" several months later in Marfield House, Co Wexford County Wexford.
Presenter Sybil Mulcahy (inset), Xpose producer Debbie O'Donnell, and Aisling O'Loughlin are all attending the plush wedding.
