Vogue Williams: 'Brian is still my best friend and we will always be close'
Presenter Vogue Williams is determined to remain “best friends” with her ex Brian McFadden.
Unlike most celebrity splits, Brian and Vogue have maintained a united front and seem to have undergone one of the most amicable separations in showbiz history.
The couple still live together in London and Vogue wants Brian to remain a “part of her life”.
“Brian is still my best friend and we will always be friends and part of each other’s lives. At the moment things are very easy,” Vogue told the Herald.
“I’m trying my best to be a grown up about it.”
The pair, who married in a lavish ceremony in Florence in 2012, announced they were separating earlier this summer.
Since then, Vogue has been busy focusing on TV work and DJ sets.
The Howth native sets off to LA in the coming weeks to film a new documentary series for RTE 2.
During the course of the three-part series Vogue will spend time in a maximum-security prison where she will chat to inmates on death row.
“It’s going to be a really
interesting show to work on,” Vogue said.
“And unlike anything else I have done before. The response I got to the last couple of documentaries were great, so hopefully people will like this, too.”
Over in the UK, Vogue is keeping busy with regular DJ gigs and appearing on TV chat shows.
Meanwhile, Brian will return to TV screens thanks to a second series of Who’s Doing the Dishes.
McFadden will perform in Dublin for the first time in 10 years when he takes to the stage in Whelans on November 4 following the release of his single Call on Me Brother.
RTE will unveil their new slate of RTE 2 programming tomorrow.
Angela Scanlon will grill international celebrities,
including wrestling champion Sheamus O’Shaunessy and writer and designer Dawn O’Porter, who she filmed with in New York.
