Sile Seoige: I can't wait to mix yoga and charity work
She has beauty, brains and broadcasting talent in spades - and now Sile Seoige looks set to add 'humanitarian yoga teacher' to her list.
The former Newstalk presenter (36) recently trained as a yoga instructor, and she told the Diary she's looking forward to putting her skills to good use when she travels to India next month to work with the Hope Foundation.
"There are various groups going out and the group that I'm in are all yoga teachers," Sile said.
"I've been doing a yoga training course so as part of our day we'll also get the chance to take part in workshops which, among other things, I'm really looking forward to."
The Galway brunette will fly out to India for 10 days in October, and while she's best known for her TV work, she admitted she has no interest in making her charity trip into a documentary.
"It's wonderful when you're working on TV projects but I think it's different when you're working on something so intimate," she said.
"Everyone there is raising a lot of money so they can go and next thing 'your one from the telly' is there with a camera. That might put people off so it's not something I think I'd do."
