Lottie lets young designers rock with scissors and paper

TV reporter Lottie Ryan was out turning on the smiles for the cameras this morning to help launch a new design competition.

She joined forces with Dublin couturier Emma Manley at Powerscourt Town Centre today as the pair unveiled details for Paper, Scissors... Rock, a nationwide fashion contest.</P>

Aimed at all the country's aspiring John Rochas, the event will offer budding fashion creators the chance to design a new outfit for male and female O2 Angels, who'll then be seen wearing the winning designs as they welcome in the various celebs to the VIP lounge.</P>

ACTRESS Caroline Morahan will be pressing the flesh later this month for the invite-only Littlewoods Ireland event.</P>

<P>The newly-wed will be taking centre stage at a bash in Dublin's city centre at a venue to be confirmed on November 21 as the shapely brunette helps reveal the latest trends for next season.</P>

<P>The online shopping brand will be showing off all the 'must have' looks for Spring/ Summer 2013. Former Off the Rails presenter Caroline has been the brand's Irish face for the past year and features in all of the TV ads for the company, which is sponsoring this year's X Factor.</P>

<P>DEMAND must be seriously big to see those burly hunks the Chippendales in action.</P>

<P>The perma-tanned beefcakes, who have made their fortune the world over from shedding their clothes and gyrating around in leather g-strings, will be coming back to Ireland next year to perform at the Olympia Theatre.</P>

<P>Having been seen by more than two million screaming fans around the globe, they'll now be setting pulses racing among red-blooded Irish ladies as they give them an eyeful of their buff bodies.</P>

<P>And organisers are making sure to give their fans plenty of notice -- they won't be performing here until September 11 to 14, with tickets going on sale now in what should prove the ultimate girls' night out.</P>

<P>WE'LL have the iconic co-founder of Pink Floyd in our midst next year as Roger Waters makes an appearance here.</P>

<P>The principal songwriter of the legendary band has just announced the return of the historic production of The Wall to Ireland in 2013 as part of a massive European stadium tour.</P>

<P>His masterpiece will be performed at Aviva Stadium on September 18, featuring a full band.</P>

<P>Tickets from €69.50 go on sale on Saturday at 9am.</P>
