Reasons for insomnia
There are many causes of insomnia but the most common would be:
1 Changes in sleeping patterns due to different working hours or travel arrangements.
2 Depression, anxiety, worries or stress.
3 Drinking tea/coffee too late at night.
4 Use of alcohol (even though alcohol may induce sleep, it more than likely will be fragmented sleep and you will probably wake up when the alcohol's relaxing effect wears off.
5 Sleeping or napping during the day.
