Posh's Astra-nomical boots are top of the Christmas wish-list

Fashion fans hoping to emulate the style of Victoria Beckham this Christmas party season will need to be quick off the mark.
The Christian Louboutin stud-encrusted Astra Queen boots, similar in style to the sandals made famous by the fashion queen, are flying off the shelves around the country.
A representative at The Shoe Rooms at Brown Thomas, Dublin, revealed: "We can't keep them in stock at all.
"We hope to have more in before Christmas, but we have a list of people waiting."
The ankle boots are retailing at €595. Meanwhile, for those who really want to make a statement, the Christian Louboutin Eugenie shoe has a price tag of €1,245.
Other top styles proving to be big sellers at the shoe department include the latest creations by Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci.
For those ladies who want to add a few extra inches should look no further than the YSL Trib Two featuring a jaw-dropping eight-inch heel. The trend-setting platforms are also amongst the first YSL shoes to bare their new trademark blue sole.
According to a member of staff at the Shoe Rooms: "Christian Louboutin's red soles have proved so popular with customers that other designers are now starting to follow suit. There seems to be a bit of competition because YSL have just brought in a line of blue soled shoes and Miu Miu have just unveiled pink as their colour of choice for the soles," she told the Herald.
Not to be outdone, Gucci have also just launched their own new signature line featuring studs similar to those debuted by Christian Louboutin.
Twist
However, instead of featuring the small eloquent studs favoured by Louboutin, Gucci have gone for the larger, more visible effect and placed theirs at the back rather than at the front.
Over at Manolo Blahnik, the shoes made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker in this year's hit movie Sex and the City are sold out. Fans of the film will have first seen the exquisite sky-high blue shoes, custom-made by Blahnik for the film as they were involved in a glass-slipper style plot twist.
And their inspiration, Sarah Jessica Parker revealed: "I love what Manolo made for the movie. It's a beautiful shoe."
