How do time poor people get a healthier diet?

One key factor to remember - it is a marathon, not a sprint - so we want to take little steps, enjoy the process and not try to change everything all in one day.

You don't have to change the dishes you are cooking but rather, step by step, upgrade the ingredients you are using, gradually adding healthy foods to dishes you are familiar with and like.

For example, a first great step would be to upgrade the quality of the oil you use. Instead of using processed, hydrogenated, low-quality oils that will make you fat and clog up your arteries, upgrade to high-quality oils that actually aid in weight loss.

Use: coconut oil, extra virgin cold-pressed olive oil, butter from grass-fed cows.

Upgrade the quality of your salt to unrefined, unprocessed, sea or rock salt, high in trace minerals. Add green leaves to whatever it is you are eating: mint, parsley, rocket, coriander etc. Doing just that will make every dish healthier.

While cooking, play some music you love and enjoy the process of becoming healthier and happier!
