There's no excuse for not being naturally beautiful. Anyone can do it. All you need is the lifestyle of a nun, a diet comprised solely of cucumber soup, the ability to drink like a camel and to avoid contact with air or sunlight - for the rest of us, there's make up.

This week I've been hunting the best deals on some of your favourite beauty brands. Here's what I found:

Shop in person

Brown Thomas

Check out their thrifty deal on the Benefit BADgal Kit which includes a full-size BADgal lash, a full-size BADgal eye pencil, a full-size Dr Feelgood, a mini Benetint, a limited edition BADgal mirror, a 4-step lesson and a travel bag. Not bad for €45!

The kit is available from Brown Thomas stores nationwide including BT2 Dundrum and Blanchardstown.

Arnotts

For those of you who aren’t loyal to a particular brand Arnotts have 10pc off all cosmetics and fragrances until September 20. Brands stocked include; Faces, YSL, Lancome and Origins. Available at Arnotts, Henry Street and Arnotts Project at the Jervis Centre.

Some great discounts to be had on cosmetics by Too-Faced. I found the much-loved Lip Injection for £6.49 and Lash Injection mascara for £9.50. I also found some great discounts on Mac, an eyebrow pencil in blonde for £7.50, Select Sheer Loose Powder in NW15 for £13.50 and a Lustre lipstick for £8.50.

jasonshankey.co.uk

If you use products by Tigi, I recommend you check out jasonshankey.co.uk. There's currently a sale on many of the Tigi lines. The fantastically named and famously frizz-free "Dumb Blonde" shampoo will cost £5.46 for 400ml and Manipulator Cream is a very unthreatening £10.50 for 100ml.

Skincare is a huge part of every girl’s beauty regime but it needn't cost the earth. Making me blush a little at my discount finding talents was Clinque's 3 step skincare system. I found the facial soap for €11.84, the exfoliator for €15.34 and the mosituriser for €19.54.

There are also impressive reductions on Clarins Cleansing milk with Alpine herbs 200ml which is on sale for €15.34.
