Jo Malone has come up with a lovely idea for a girlie day out (or a treat for your mum). The brand has collaborated with The Merrion Hotel and is offering a special afternoon tea inspired by its latest fragrance Vanilla & Anise.

Ed Cooney, executive chef at The Merrion, has created (we can confirm) a gorgeous selection of mini cakes and tartlets which are served alongside dainty sandwiches and scones.

Guests also receive a goodie bag of Jo Malone samples and an invitation for a complimentary hand and arm massage at the Jo Malone counter in Brown Thomas.

The Jo Malone Vanilla & Anise Afternoon Tea is €36 per person and will only be available during March. You can book now, however, and it's expected to fill up quickly, especially around Mother's Day on Sunday, March 14, so we suggest signing up early.

To book, call the hotel at 01 6030600.
