autumn arrivals and some good brow tips

divine HAPPENINGS

This autumn sees the return of London label Darling to Divine with first drop arriving mid July.

The Darling range is the vision of Nadia Moraes, the London-based designer and entrepreneur who created the label. As an independent boutique owner, Nadia spent many years sourcing pieces for her shops and was inspired to launch her own collection by the lack of affordable, beautiful and stylish clothing available.

Ultra feminine, vintage inspired and quintessentially 'English', Darling's unique brand identity is behind the success and popularity.

We like this red Violetta dress, €85.

BILLION DOLLAR BROWS

WOMEN have been paying their brows a lot of attention for many years now - and it's normally a story of extremes.

For years, the trend was to pluck the brow into submission in pursuit of a thin arch.

Many found themselves ultimately drawing brows on every day as the hair growth in the area adopted a reductionist response, then faded to nothing.

These days, model Cara Delevingne has created a frenzy for the bushy brow reminiscent of Brooke Shields in her heyday.

Truth be told, you are better keeping what you've got and simply grooming them with some product.

Billion Dollar Brows is a gel that will help you do just that - keeping them under control and in place
all day.

Billion Dollar Brow Gel, €23.95, is available online at www.frenchbeautyroom.com and leading beauty salons.

100 YEARS OF COOL

TO mark '100 Years of Glamour' Max Factor muse Gwyneth Paltrow has debuted iconic looks from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

The brand is celebrating by recreating some of the most influential beauty looks of the past on muse Gwyneth
Paltrow.

Mr. Max Factor was the man responsible for some of the most transcending beauty looks of all time.

It's beauty as art and shows Paltrow transformed into modern interpretations of some iconic beauty looks. It is indeed the Farrah Fawcett (inset) look we are most drawn to with its bronzed cheekbones and fanned out eyelashes.

As Caroline Barnes, Max Factor make-up
artist says; "It was a decade of change in make-up; the birth of the beautiful sun-kissed tanned skin."
