A kiss is still a kiss with a tinted lip balm - maybe even more so
TINTED LIP BALMS
BURT'S BEES Lip Shimmer in Guava
Slim, with a hit of peppermint and sparkle, this is a handbag hero. The colour range of the entire line is a bit limited, but they hit all the right notes. This one is a pinky-lavender that is low maintenance but high in wow factor. Your lips will look and feel delicious.
ORIGINS Drink Up Hydrating Lip Balm in Berry Splash
This benefits breast cancer research and as such, is in the pink spectrum. It's a dark pink which is good for autumn, but too dark to apply as you would a balm (without looking.) I found it to feel really thick and sticky. It's for a good cause though... less is more with this.
RIMMEL LONDON Keep Calm And Kiss Lip Balm in Pink Blush
This, more than the others, really feels like a proper lip balm. It's the perfect sort of lip product to use when you don't want high maintenance, but do want to look like you're wearing something. In other words, KISS: keep it simple, silly!
NEW YORK COLOUR Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm in Applelicious Pink
I gotta say, this is good. It's meant to be pink, but it comes up a lovely light red, and the more you apply it, the deeper it gets. It feels light as a feather, and also feels like it is moisturising. Great if you want a nice red lip without having to tend to it too much.
CLINIQUE Chubby Stick Baby Tint Moisturising Lip Balm in Flowing Freesia
This is something that my mum would have let me wear when I was a tween: it looks like grown up make up but it's got almost no colour to it. What little pigment there is enhances my natural lip tone, but doesn't make it pop; the texture of the balm, however, is soothing and hydrating.
BENEFIT LolliBalm Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm
It is low on pigment, and It tends to bleed around the edges of the lips, which is definitely not a good look.
... because your kisser doesn't have to worry about being covered in lipglossy goop. If strong pigment is your thing, though, will you be happy? (I don't think you will...)
