Yvonne Keating: I almost opened a shoe shop with pal Amanda
Yvonne Keating has revealed she once came close to opening a shoe shop with fellow model Amanda Byram.
The 40-year-old has always had one eye on other ventures hopes to set up her own business before the end of the year.
"I set up a pop-up business last year and it didn't really work out so by the end of the year I'm hoping to do it full-time or long-term as opposed to a pop-up," Yvonne said.
"It's retail but I have to wait for the big reveal. When I was modelling, opening a business would have always been my target as something to do when I retire.
"In fact myself and Amanda Byram were very close to opening a shoe shop years ago," she added.
Yvonne is also keeping herself busy with cooking classes.
Earlier this week Ronan Keating, her former husband of 17 years, revealed how he got engaged to his girlfriend Storm Uechtritz.
Yvonne has since said that she wishes the couple "nothing but happiness" and has spent the last few days honing her cooking skills at the Cook's Academy.

Posting pictures of her culinary feats, including pan-fried sea bass and choux pastry, she wrote: "Back to school for me today. Looking forward to the next four weeks."
The mum-of-three describes herself as a "domestic engineer" and is known for her cooking talents, having previously participated in Celebrity Masterchef and teamed up with Stork for a baking masterclass.
"I do love to cook and I always love when I'm doing a job that I can relate to," she said.
While she won't be releasing a cook book any time soon, Yvonne says she has enjoyed working on TV over the past few years and would be open to working on another show if the right concept was put foward.
"If the opportunity came along that interests me, I would never say no," she revealed.
"If I can relate to the TV show or the family product that I'm interested in, I'm all up for it," she continued.
