Work and partying left no time for love - Laura

SHE works hard and plays hard.

And now Bray native Laura Whitmore has admitted her hectic schedule was one of the main reason's behind her and Danny O'Reilly's split.

"Me and the boyfriend broke up," the 27-year-old said. "I'm so busy right now – it's hard to have a boyfriend."

Laura split from Coronas frontman Danny last year after two years together.

Travelling to Australia for I'm A Celeb, a jam-packed filming schedule and The Coronas' constant touring meant the two were spending less and less time together.

But Laura is clearly loving her newly single status and has been snapped at the biggest and brightest red carpet events London has to offer.

The MTV host is regularly seen partying with members of the Irish Brat Pack; Eoghan McDermott and Niall Horan. She was recently spotted chatting to her model ex David Gandy at a charity bash.

This week, the bubbly blonde presenter headed over the water to New York for Paddy's Day, where she was spotted in a green wig enjoying a few pints of the black stuff.

The Beatles started a revolution back in the USSR

If ever a band has been well served by the literary world it's The Beatles. Practically every aspect of that revolutionary body of work has been dealt with in book form... or so one would have thought. From Hunter Davies' The Beatles, through Philip Norman's Shout, Bob Spitz's humongously detailed history and Ian McDonald's brilliant Revolution in the Head, which offered a musical and contextual analysis of every song they ever recorded, surely there's nothing left of interest to diehard fans of the Fabs. Well, think again.
