IT finally hit the screens with hot tubs and kissing competitions - but the passion and tensions are set to build up in Tallafornia.
The fly-on-the-wall reality show, which follows the lives of seven Dubliners, hit Irish TVs last night with a "teaser" episode to preview what's in store in the New Year.
And the TV3 series, which premiered following the Xtra Factor, looks set to have tongues wagging at office water coolers in the coming months, with hints of a love triangle and bitching.
A number of well-known faces including Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter, Claire Byrne, PJ Gallagher and Bernard Dunne, tuned in to see the racy programme, which at one stage was "trending" worldwide on Twitter.
Hook-ups
The group, which includes a male stripper, personal trainer and glamour model, have been captured on camera for over two months and there are no boundaries set when it comes to the alcohol-fuelled action and hook-ups.
Party girls Kelly Donegan (22), Natalie Geraghty (21) and youngest of the cast Nikita Murray (19) enjoyed a three-way kiss in front of their male housemates on the first night in the house, after stripping down to bikinis for some late night shenanigans and a round of "truth or dare" in the hot tub.
The lads, who are likely to garner a number of female fans thanks to their buff bodies, showed off their manliness with a gym session while the girls headed to the local Tesco to pick up the weekly shop.
Thanks to the boys' packed food list, which included 20 cans of tuna and a pack of condoms, the housemates ended up spending €650, nearly €200 over budget, for seven days worth of food.
There were plenty of steamy scenes in the series opener as ladies man Philly Penny (22) and blonde beauty Natalie engaged in a kiss-off competition at Tallaght haunt The Plaza Hotel.
Meanwhile, burly taxi driver Cormac Brannigan (29) sent teen wild child Nikita into a rage by snogging a random brunette on the dancefloor after kissing her the night before. A love triangle is set to develop between raven-haired Nikita, muscle mad Cormac and unemployed Philly later on in the series, while insiders have revealed that 26-year-old personal trainer David Behan falls for Assets model Kelly -- whose boyfriend is not impressed.
And plenty of rows are expected to break out when the programme airs in January, as Nikita slams model Kelly for being "two-faced" and "backstabbing".
Jaw-dropper
A spokeswoman for TV3 said she's not worried about the explicit scenes and bad language on the show turning crowds away. "It's a jaw-dropper and will be the main talking point over the festive season. Nobody can ever excuse TV3 of being boring."
Meanwhile, Kelly is hoping her modelling career will sky rocket abroad after she takes on a job for Sky Sports.
The aspiring glamour girl is set to strut her stuff as one of the walk-on girls at the Ladbrokes World Darts Championship 2012 qualifiers in London next week.
Kelly has beaten hundreds of hopefuls to land the popular spot and is enjoying "taking jobs from the girls in the UK".
"I'm one of the two walk-on girls, there'll be a lot of attention on us so I'm really excited," Kelly told the Herald. "I'm on a strict detox until I go. I'm excited about being on Sky Sports and that's a big deal so I want to look good."
