Staying in tonight? Here's the pick of what's on the box
We've got your night in covered.
Jennifer Maguire and Darren Kennedy help a 35-year-old mother-of-two who lost her job in youth work in 2007 following recessionary cuts, but now wants to get back on the job ladder. They also advise a 19-year-old from Cork who walked out on his Leaving Certificate Examinations in secondary school and has struggled to find employment since. Together, the pair improve their confidence through the job-seeking boot camp and get a chance to put their new skills to the test.
The Last Leg
New series. Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker return with three shows culminating in an election night extravaganza.
As well as the usual comic review of the past seven days, the trio look at the latest in the world of politics in the run-up to polling day and are joined by guest Piers Morgan.
Home of the Year
Judges Hugh Wallace, Declan O’Donnell and Helen James examine two properties in Co Sligo – a self-build cob-and-timber frame home, which was completed in 2011, and a renovated cottage with an open-plan design.
They end the viewings at a thatched house in Co Galway, which has a homely open stove in the original fireplace.
