'She's very calm' - Daniel O'Donnell praises his 'patient' Strictly partner Kristina Rihanoff
He's in the depths of rehearsals for Strictly Come Dancing - and Daniel O'Donnell has praised his "patient" dance partner, Kristina Rihanoff.
Daniel won't be showing off his progress until Friday September 25, but the BBC have released a video of the pair in rehearsals - and it looks like he's taking the task very seriously.
"She's very calm, and even when I do something wrong, she doesn't say, 'That was wrong' - she just picks me up and says, 'Just try and do it this way'," he said.
Rihanoff is clearly impressed with the 53-year-old's efforts and says he is her "kind of student".
"Even with the first couple of steps it seems like he's enjoying himself," she said.
"He wants to learn it properly and he's really soaking in all the information I give."
He appears on the show with other stars like Peter Andre, Jay McGuinness from The Wanted and former Voice of Ireland coach Jamelia.
Daniel has forged some unlikely friendships through the series and is now good pals with Peter Andre.
The Beautiful Girl singer has more than 3m followers on Twitter and has been advising Daniel's camp to set up some social media accounts to help him in the competition.
Daniel's fans in the Republic can't vote for him on the popular BBC series, but he's hoping people across the border will help keep him in the competition.
"I hope all the fans in the North will vote," he said.
