Rosanna cooks up plans for TV show after book
Rosanna Davison has just published her first book but she's already eyeing up her own TV series.
The model's healthy eating bible Eat Yourself Beautiful was launched with the support of her celebrity friends and family, and Rosanna told the Herald she won't be stopping with just the book.
"I think the interest is certainly there [for a TV series]. People are into an idea of food as medicine - although obviously always consult your GP if there's anything wrong - but the idea of making healthier choices and going to the supermarket and knowing what to buy is a huge area of interest now," Rosanna said.
"Nothing has been talked about yet but if the opportunity came along, I think there's so much I could share. I think there's a lot of scope in it.
"I'd love to do more sort of wellness workshops and talks so hopefully that's the next step."
The former Miss World (31) was joined by her singer father Chris De Burgh and mother Diane Davison, as well as her husband Wesley Quirke at last night's launch party in House, Leeson Street.
Rosanna's fellow model foodie Roz Purcell was also in attendance and reiterated there was no heated rivalry between the pair, even though Roz is set to launch her own cookbook later this year. "I understand how hard she's worked for the book. I can't wait to look through it," she said.
"Neither of us are people who would get in a fight with people in our industry. We spoke about it straight afterwards and it was all fine."
Other famous faces at the launch include stylist Lisa Fitzpatrick, tenor Paul Byrom, blogger Suzanne Jackson and Damo and Ivor star Andy Quirke.
