This nine-year-old kick-boxer first wowed Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Toy Show and now she has powered through Britain's Got Talent.

Jesse Jane McParland impressed music mogul Simon Cowell so much that he jokingly offered her a job as his bodyguard.

Jesse Jane (inset) is a junior Irish kick-boxing champion and is due to make her movie debut later this month after she bagged a role in Hollywood blockbuster 'Martial Arts Kid'.

Her mother said that her appearance on The Late Late Toy Show no doubt aided her success in LA - in July she will start filming a movie with teen idol Zac Efron called Awakening.

But her martial arts display went down a storm with the judges and the audience at the TV talent show BGT, which last week drew 10 million viewers.

All four judges were stunned and each gave her an immediate 'yes', which sends her through to the next round.

Before kicking off, she said she wanted to impress Simon because "he's the boss of One Direction".

When she finished, Simon asked, "Do you want a job as my bodyguard?".

Amanda Holden said she was "incredible" and was "one to watch in the competition" while David Walliams predicted Olympics success.

Simon then suggested that next time she bring on "two little people", meaning hosts Ant and Dec, as the villains to beat them up.
