Baz Ashmawy is having a career high at the moment, but said he's feeling guilty because he hasn't been able to spend as much time as he'd like with his family.

The second series of 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy is going down a storm and he's also signed on to do a show about his Muslim heritage for RTE2.

Baz (pictured right) is engaged to his long-term partner Tanja and the pair are parents to Hannah (5) and Tanja's four children from a previous relationship - Charlotte (18), Harry (17), Jake (13) and Amelia (11). "It's very hard to juggle work and family life. I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with the kids," he told the Diary.

"But it's been very busy recently, so I'm hoping to take them away on a holiday some time soon.

"I did that guilty shopping trip with them recently, so I've been buying lots of shoes."

Baz and Tanja got engaged earlier this year, but have no wedding plans just yet. "It's high on the to-do list, but I'd say we will go away, maybe to Belgrade or Cairo," Baz said.
