LOUIS Walsh has revealed his New Year's resolution -- to bring X Factor auditions back to Ireland.
The music mogul has said that he's determined to convince programme boss Simon Cowell to bring this year's heats to the capital city again.
Although no contracts have been signed yet, Louis's hoping to make it 10-in-a-row with another stint on the 2013 talent show.
And he is also hoping that his strong friendship with Simon might help Dublin feature on the show.
The X Factor stopped holding Irish auditions in 2011 and added Liverpool to the venue list instead.
"There were no Irish acts in last year's show and I think that was a shame. I think it really showed," Louis told the Herald.
"I'd love to bring the show over to Dublin again and have a massive audition as there's so much talent in Ireland that we should be showcasing.
"You just have to look at the success of people like Niall Horan, Jedward and Mary Byrne as proof of that. I'm convinced there's some big stars here who need a big break."
