wwwDUBLIN'S top stars will be out celebrating the launch of Corona Light next week.

The drinks company is throwing an official launch party for the new product, which only contains 99 calories. Taking place at Dublin hotspot The Church, special guests will be escorted to the VIP area where they can enjoy the celebrations.

Music will be provided by Jerry Fish and The Mudbug Club, who will be supported by Bipolar Empire. There will also be special guest DJs and a late bar.

wwwSinger-songwriter and The Voice mentor Bressie will be hitting the decks in Dublin this weekend.

The former Blizzards frontman will be taking to the DJ booth in Cassidy's on Westmoreland Street this Friday. Guests can attend the event free of charge.

Bressie's upcoming single Breaking My Fall will be released on March 9.

wwwCALLING all Heineken lovers. The Old Harcourt Street train station, The Odeon, will take a step back into history as it hosts Heineken's The Long Story at the Odeon, celebrating the arrival of Heineken's new Irish-made TV ad Long Story.

Taking place this Thursday, Ryan Sheridan, whose track The Dreamer provides the soundtrack to the commercial, will give an intimate acoustic performance.

Kicking off at 7pm, anyone who would like to attend can apply for tickets on the Heineken Facebook page.

wwwEUROVISION star Linda Martin is set to be honoured with a Variety Gold Heart Award for Outstanding Contribution to Irish Entertainment this week.

The Panto queen will be given the award at a special charity lunch at The Grand Hotel, Malahide this Sunday. All proceeds from the event will go to Variety Ireland, the children's charity.

wwwRADIO stars Aidan Power and Claire Solan revealed Ireland's weirdest food combinations yesterday.

The 98FM morning duo asked listeners to tell them which two foods they love to put together. Some top combinations included porridge and tuna, baked beans and ice cream, strawberries and pepper, peanut butter and Yorkshire pudding, and mustard and popcorn.
