Ronan Keating's happiest day as Storm says 'yes'... twice
Ronan Keating has revealed that he proposed to partner Storm Uechtritz not once but twice.
The former Boyzone star first went down on bended knee during a romantic break in Thailand last month and then in front of his children in Ireland.
Ronan and Storm giddily announced their news on Twitter with the dad-of-three saying it was the "happiest day" of his life.
Loved up Australian Storm was so overwhelmed that she accepted his proposal twice.
"Happiest day of my life. I asked @StormUechtritz to marry me and she said yeeeeeeeeeeasssss twice. Ha ha," the 38-year-old singer posted.
The X Factor Australia judge copied Hello magazine in his tweet, linking to an "exclusive story" in the mag.
Ronan told the celebrity magazine that he helped design the engagement ring - an oval diamond set in a diamond-encrusted titanium band - for Storm (34).
"I proposed twice and she said yes both times, thank God," says Ronan. "We've been together a few years and knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. I felt it was the right time."
Ronan said that he found the perfect moment to pop the question during their recent holiday in Thailand, as the couple watched the sun rise over the ocean.
"Everyone on the island was fast asleep and there we were, just the two of us, witnessing the most beautiful sunrise we've ever seen," he said.
Then when they returned to Ireland, the first people they told were his three children from his previous marriage - Jack, now 16, Missy, 14 and nine-year-old Ali.
"Storm isn't just marrying me. There are four of us involved," said 38-year-old Ronan. "Storm has an amazing relationship with the kids, which is very important."
The second proposal took place on the west coast of Ireland with the children present.
"We pulled out the ring again and she said yes. It was the most magical thing in the world," Ronan said.
Ronan and Yvonne officially divorced last month after 17 years of marriage. He met Storm on the set of the Australian X Factor where she was a producer and he was a judge.
