'Pared-down' Nigella to make her TV comeback
Nigella Lawson is coming back to British TV for the first time since the breakdown of her marriage and revelations about her private life in a controversial court case.
The celebrity chef (inset) will present Simply Nigella on BBC2, which will see her show off "a new pared-down approach to cooking and eating".
She said the show is "about food that makes our life easier, that makes us feel better".
The relaunch of her career comes 12 months after she was stopped from flying to the United States, where she co-presented cooking show Taste, after she confessed at the trial of her and ex-husband Charles Saatchi's personal assistants to taking cocaine.
Police said they would not be taking any action after the admission which came after the end of her marriage to Saatchi.
