Roz Purcell: I'm Picnic-bound but don't ask me to camp
Model Roz Purcell will be swapping her stilettoes for wellies this weekend as she makes her annual pilgrimage to Electric Picnic.
But don't expect to find the beauty queen queuing for the portaloos or slumming it in a campsite.
Oh no, Roz insists she wouldn't dream of snuggling down in a cheap and cheerful tent.
"No [I won't be camping]. I'm not very good at festivals. I think it's from modelling - I don't like being cold and my feet get sore very fast and then you just want to go home," Roz told the Diary.
However, for the Tipperary beauty, who is a self confessed "granny", there's something about the Picnic that makes braving the elements worthwhile.
"Last year I had so much fun at it I just had to go back," she said.
While Roz is rarely pictured with a hair out of place, she insists that she hasn't been planning her get-up for weeks in advance.
"I always say every year I'm going to be organised but I'll probably do it on the morning to suit the weather," she said.
Nevertheless, the busy model is looking forward to kicking back and relaxing at the festival.
"I can't wait - it's like my one day out a year. I know, that sounds very sad, but it is," she said.
