Ronan Keating hits back at Louis Walsh: I'm no diva and I'm not difficult to work with
BOYZONE star Ronan Keating has taken to Twitter to rubbish claims that he’s difficult to work with.
It came after former manager Louis Walsh said that Ronan was the biggest “diva” he had managed.
In an interview in this week’s RTE Guide, music mogul Louis said that the singer, who is currently starring in West End show Once: The Musical, was the biggest “diva” he had ever worked with.
“They all turn into divas. He can’t sing like a diva but I would probably have to say Ronan Keating,” he said.
The singer responded to the claims writing: “Allegedly someone called me a Diva. Ha ha f**k me they obviously never met me or managed me.”
The boyband star’s feud with former boss Walsh has been well documented in recent years.
X Factor judge Louis also said Boyzone would be more successful now if he was still in charge of them.
“I have never had anyone who can actually write their own songs and sing,” he said.
“I picked all the songs for Boyzone. If I was still managing Boyzone, they would be a lot more successful. They wouldn’t be doing a Motown album.”
Walsh, who also managed Westlife and Girls Aloud, said that becoming famous can sometimes bring out the worst in a lot of artists.
