And while she may have bizarrely requested anti- chafing undies for her backing dancers from organisers, she appeared to have forgotten hers when she took to the main stage on the last day of the festival.
The show-stealing starlet delighted her male fans by displaying her pert rear as part of a blistering set hailed as one of the best shows in this year's sizzling line-up. But it wasn't just her stage outfits that were misbehaving during her set.
The American star also suffered a technical hitch during her second song in her raunchy performance.
She bellowed at her production team: "I can't hear myself for a moment there. That was close there for a minute. It's my worst nightmare not being able to hear. I'd rather cut my f**king feet off rather than not be able to hear."
Clearly not one lady who's shy in the bedroom, she also told the crowd: "People say that Lady Gaga is always talking about sex. That's because I love it!"
She dazzled the crowd by changing from one tiny outfit to another, riding out on a blue Vespa scooter and writhing on a piano for Poker Face. Speaking for her fondness for Ireland, Gaga went on to say how she was crazy about local pubs.
"I love coming to Ireland because you have such great pubs. And I love going to them to meet my friends for a drink," she said.
Thousands of festival fans gave up their creature comforts to make the annual pilgrimage to Punchestown for three days of mud-filled fun.
Attendees rocked out to performances from a super line-up that included Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon, the Killers and Blur -- who were reportedly paid €500,000 to come over.
But while the hoi polloi were milling around splashing in the mud, with torrential rain on Saturday, it was all a very different story in the VIP area.
There was no queuing for beer and portaloos for this lucky crew who nabbed a pass. With a string of indoor bars, upmarket cafe stalls and even a crazy golf course, slumming it was entirely out of the question.
And forget chomping down on soggy chips and stodgy burgers. The music stars enjoyed a gourmet feast like fillet of beef Wellington, salmon en croute with savoury pancakes and glazed baked ham.
A-lister Natalie Portman was among those spotted enjoying the festival atmosphere after popping in to check it out on Saturday. She proved she's no diva after snubbing Oxegen's VIP area to mingle with great unwashed and get Closer to the action.
Over here filming new €13m flick Your Highness, Natalie arrived with a massive entourage of cast and crew from the Irish-based movie.
The actress was brought directly to the backstage area in time to see Kings of Leon performing on the main stage.
But instead of joining celebs like Stereophonics star Kelly Jones and Pete Doherty, it was straight out to the driving rain to get some real festival atmosphere.
"All the VIPs were on the side of the stage watching the Kings of Leon. But she disappeared down into the mosh pit," said an onlooker.
"You could see her every now and then jumping up and down and belting out her favourite songs. She was clearly a big fan and had no problem roughing it."
Taking to the main stage at 11.30pm on Saturday night, Kings of Leon's Caleb Follo-will thanked fans for the dedication saying: "You guys have been wonderful.
"This is the gig we've been looking forward to most this year."
